Welcome to the La Plaza
Building located in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards at 2501-2519 Rodeo Plaza,
Fort Worth, Texas 76164.
The La Plaza Building was
constructed in 1911 and was called the Exhibit Building. This building was an
exhibit hall for farm implements. Later the building was used by Frank Kent
Cadillac and during WWII by Lockheed Martin. The great Flood of Fort Worth
washed away one half of the Building leaving it the size it is today. During
the Viet Nam era, the building was also used by Bell Helicopter and was finally
restored as a Retail establishment in the mid 1980's.
We hope you will come to
the Fort Worth Stockyards and take a stroll through our air conditioned
building. We have hand painted murals down every hallway that depicts the
history of Fort Worth. We also have a wide range of Tenants that sell
merchandise that has a distinctive Texas flair. Some of the Tenant's make
their products onsite, to include iron work, art work, candles, ivory carvings,
and wood work. We also have Tenants that sell Native American Jewelry, Texas
hats, T-Shirts, purses, and so much more. While you are here you can enjoy the
Best Pizza in Fort Worth at Giovanni's Pizza or enjoy a cold beverage and a
little dancing at the Neon Moon Saloon or Club Inferno.
